 When you lauch WS_FTP you will be prompted for the session properties the HOST Name will be weblab.devry.edu

HOST Type will be

Automatic detect

Do not save password this causes errors.

After you have completed filling out the form Click OK.

 

Another Dialogue box will appear.

 

 

 

 

You will have to re-enter your password.

 

 

 

 

 

         

 

At this time you will be granted access to the webserver where you will view the course folder in the server. NOTE ( you will only have access to the course folders for which you have enrolled. Please contact your instructor to receive the name of your course folder) Navigate using the side bar on your right hand side window pane until your course folder is visible.

 

 

 

 

In this example we will navigate to the IT470ASUM06A  course folder.  This is an ONLINE COURSE. (NOTE OnSite course will have a prefix 3-Digit Course locations i.e., (ALP = Alpharetta, GA/Campus  the course folder would be as follows: ALPBIS325ASUM06A)

Once you have logged into your course folder successfully you will view the folder in your course. Each student has an assigned webfolder. Normally webfolder for students are First Initial Last Name i.e., Damien Thornton = DThornton unless otherwise instructed by your instructor.

 

 

 

You have successfully navigated to your course webfolder.
